Sony Smart Phone
No surprise here! Yet another smart phone is on the rise to compete with Apple's iPhone. Only this time its Sony?! According to the Wall Street Journal, Sony will release a new smart phone capable of downloading and playing PlayStation games! With declining PSP sales, a cool reception to the digital download-only PSPgo, and increasing competition from iPhone and iPod gaming, the timing sounds logical. Also targeted for a 2010 launch is an e-reader and a PlayStation Portable, which is running next to Apples iPad.

I also followed a link embedded in the Kotaku sight taking you straight to the Wall Street Journal which states "Threatened by Apple Inc.'s growing stable of portable devices, Sony Corp. is developing a new lineup of handheld products, including a smart phone capable of downloading and playing PlayStation games, according to people familiar with the matter." I am actually really excited to see these because I love Sony and have been extremely pleased with every Sony product I have ever owned, Tvs, PlayStations, Dvd Players, etc. Now we just wait and see for it to be available to the public!
